Amendment No. 18 of 2022 (Temporary Provision until 2027) to the 'Prevention of Domestic Violence Law', stipulates that if a Court granted a protection order, it may also instruct the person to receive treatment by an authority determined by the Court.

Amendment No. 19 of 2023 (Temporary Provision until 2027) to the 'Prevention of Domestic Violence Law', defines conditions to be considered by the courts prior to the issuance of a restraining order enforced through technological supervision and determines the exceptions to these conditions, including threat to the victim's life. It also establishes the creation of a technological supervision unit within the IPS.
